I’m surprised the board isnt a sticker, its actual wood inlay. Pieces are super light, but can be replaced with any 2.5″ tall(king) set.

this chess and checkers set comes in a box with a pull out drawer that has individual slots for the chess pieces and a long slot for the checkers. The board is on one side of the box. It makes for a very attractive, portable set to use at home or tuck in a suitcase.
